A media access control protocol for wireless sensor networks
In this paper, we present a MAC protocol named SMACPT (Sensor Media Access Control Protocol based on TDMA) for super-micro wireless networked sensors with the seriously limited resource. Compared with other mechanism, performance analysis in theory and experimental measurements indicate that SMACPT achieves efficient transmission control with high packet delivery success rate besides minimal power consume, fair bandwidth allocation and acceptable adaptive ability.
