Liquid Meta-Services: A Component-Based Operating System Layer for Pervasive Computing

摘要：

The Liquid meta-services are intended to enable embedded operating system to support pervasive computing. This is accomplished through two key features: (1) configurable, component-based infrastructure services called metaservices in kernel, and (2) meta-services components trading service, which provides meta-services components selecting and configuration mechanism to meet the levity infrastructure requirements of pervasive application. In this paper we discuss the Liquid meta-services principle, component model and the underlying technology, and analysis the performance impact of using metaservices.
