A Privacy Method for Mobile-Based Services on Embedded Systems
A prime example of an embedded system in need of security is the cell phone and PDAs. This paper describes how mobile-based services on embedded systems of Linux can be implemented on low cost ARM microprocessors with reasonable performance. ARM is a high-performance,low-cost, low-power RISC processor. We can implement mobile devices (MDs) in mobile-based services where home mobile-based server (HMBS)must authenticate each other. In a mobile-based service, we propose a framework to achieve privacy property for mobile agents. Our proposed protocol can be easily applied to embedded systems without changing their underlying structures. Mobile agent model is useful for building components that lead to rapid development of embedded systems for privacy method.
