A Design of Embedded Internet Communication Module Based on IEEE 1451.2

This paper introduces a design of embedded Intemet communication module, supplying a gap of IEEE 1451.2 standard. In terms of embedded technology, such as 32-bit RISC MPU of ARM systemstructure, embedded real-time operating system kernel (μC/OS-Ⅱ) and Lightweight TCP/IP stack (LWIP) etc., this scheme making all kinds of sensors form IEEE1451.2 access to Internet neatly, with high reliability, low power consumption and cost. The module can be used in various fields on long distance fault test and diagnosis system, such as data collection, data processing and transmission security.
