Inter-cell Interference in Approximately Synchronized CDMA Systems
Approximately synchronized CDMA system has an advantage which is possible taking the inter-channel interference in the cell as zero. In order to clarify the usefulness of the approximately synchronized CDMA system, it is indispensable to verify the system performance from various viewpoints. Main interference sources that reduce the system capacity are inter-channel interference and inter-cell interference. In this paper, the each factor which affects the inter-cell interference is examined, and the performance is analyzed by the computer simulation. As the result, it becomes clear that transmission power control is effective for reducing the inter-cell interference. In addition, the relation which cell size and chip rate should satisfy has been clarified in order that the interference signal synchronizes with the desired signal.
