Base-band Signal Processing and Its Implementation for CDMA Systems Using Complete Complementary Codes
It is shown that DS-CDMA systems based on Complete Complementary Codes have some advantage in improving data transmission efficiency via exactly estimating the multipath properties. Considering the hardware implementation, the major problem is how to decrease the number of matched filters employed to carry out auto/cross-correlations between local codes and input signals. In this paper, we discuss base-band signal processing for DS-CDMA systems based on Complete Complementary Codes. To simplify the hardware implementation, a new architecture for the base-band signal processing of the receiver is proposed. The proposed architecture has been simulated by Verilog HDL simulator and implemented by FPGA technology.
