IMPROVEMENT OF THE ENERGY EFFICIENCY IN THE REFRIGERATION PLANTS

Taking into consideration the potential decrease of energy consumption in the refrigeration plants, this paper presents a detailed analysis of every component of such a plant and proposes several solutions for improving energy consumption.Different compressor types were analysed, in order to decrease the power consumption, even in the case of small compressors with a small cooling capacity.Analyses of heat exchangers from refrigerant plants are also presented (evaporator, condenser, sub-cooler or super heater) emphasizing the boost of heat transfer phenomena using the turbulence shapes.Analyses of heat exchangers from refrigerant plants are also presented (evaporator, condenser, sub-cooler or super heater) emphasizing the boost of heat transfer phenomena using the turbulence shapes.
