RESEARCH ON OIL RETURN OF HERMETIC REFRIGERATING COMPRESSOR IN PARALLEL OPERATION SYSTEM

In compressor parallel refrigeration system, there are many merits, such as large refrigerating output, high efficiency on part load. Nevertheless, this system can present serious troubles linked to oil return, especially at part load.A study on oil return of the parallel operation system using hermetic refrigerating compressor is presented in this paper. Principle of oil return and the solution were discussed. Suggestions for configuration of refrigeration system in parallel compressor operation have been given.Experiment for the air conditioner unit is carried out at cooling and heating application using single balance pipe configuration. The results show that the type of single balance pipe with the distributor configuration performs good stabilization and reliability for oil return better than dual-balance pipe configuration.
