A STUDY ON THREE DIMENSION SIMULATION OF AIR FLOWING PATTERN AND TEMPERATURE DISTRIBUTION FOR A HOUSEHOLD REFRIGERATOR
The arrangement of shelf in the fresh chamber and the structure of freezing chamber greatly influence the air flowing pattern and temperature distribution inside a refrigerator. In the paper, three dimension simulation of the air flowing pattern and temperature distribution inside the fresh chamber indicates that the arrangement using plate-shelf with 2~3 centimeter gap between them is preferable. It can decrease the temperature difference in each layer and enhance the heat exchange between air and evaporator. The simulation of the freezing chamber with different structure shows that the auxiliary evaporating coil for each intersected cabinet could not only ensure temperature distribution uniformly, but also keep odors among the freezing cabinets not to penetrate each other.
