A RESEARCH OF IMPROVING SUBMARINE INHABITING BY USING ICE-STORAGE AIR CONDITIONING ON SUBMERGED CONDITION

Energy consumption of air conditioning is about 1/3 of total energy consumption when a routine submarine navigate below the surface, so improving conformation of submarine indoor environment with minimized energy consumption is a key problem. Focusing on massive heat load and high temperature in some of the submarine cabins, in order to improving submarine inhabiting and energy saving, this paper put forward applying ice-storage air conditioning to rebuild the air conditioning of submarine. When submarine sails on the surface, ice-storage equipment stores ice. When submarine sails underwater, ice-storage air conditioning operates. In this way, the energy consumption is less than routine submarine air conditioning. One type of ice-storage air conditioning used in submarine was introduced. The project design, equipment selection and analysis of air treatment process were done. By calculating and analyzing, it is shown that ice-storage air conditioning application is able to improve the inhabiting and working environment on submarine, and the energy consumption is decreased on submerged condition.
