MULTIPLE REGRESSION ANALYSIS ON ENERGY USE OF OFFICE BUILDING IN SHANGHAI
Multiple regression analysis is useful for developing energy prediction equations based on the results of building energy simulation or on the measured and monitored data on site. This paper performs the sensitivity analysis for the key parameters that influence building energy consumption significantly respectively. And then multiple regression analysis is used to develop an energy-estimation equation to predict the annual electricity consumption in this paper and the accuracy of prediction is validated. Then the building energy use can be predicted based on limited on site data measured in short period and existing operational parameters.
