SYSTEM CONSTRUCTION AND ECONOMIC ANALYSIS OF HEAT PUMP DRIVEN BY BIOGAS ENGINE
Biogas engine-driven heat pump (BEHP) is a heating appliance for energy saving and environment -al protection.Compared with electric-driven or motor-driven compression heat pumps,a BEHP sys -tem has similar main components but different power sources, and furthermore it not only has same functions of compression heat pump, but also can recover and utilize waste heat from biogas engine. In the paper, the system construction of a BEHP is developed, the primary energy ratio (PER) is cal -culated in comparison with four other heating appliances, and the economic analysis together with environmental benefits are given out. The results show that the proposed BEHP system has better benefits in energy saving and environmental protection.
