STUDY ON ABSORPTION REFRIGERATION CYCLE WITH AN EXHAUST HEAT RECOVERY GENERATOR
A new absorption refrigeration cycle with an exhaust heat recovery generator is presented. Principle of this novel cycle is explained and a software package is developed for thermodynamic calculation to simulate the operation state of the cycle. Simulation results show that Coefficient of Performance (COP) of this cycle increases and fuel consumption decreases as heat recovery generator’s vapor percentage α increases. As α=1.5%, the increment in COP is about 5 percent. PER efficiency was increased by about 6.4 percent. The results also shows that exhaust temperature of this cycle can drop to about 120℃,which has energy efficiency and environmental protection benefits.
