Optimal Supplier Contracts under Asymmetric Inventory Information: A Two Period Model

We consider a two-echelon supply chain and develop an optimal supplier contract for a two period model with hidden inventory information. We assume that the retailer starts with zero inventory, but can carry unsold inventory to the last period. The supplier, however,cannot observe this inventory level.
