OR & Future Supply Chain Planning

摘要：

This extended abstract discusses the role operations research (OR) has played in supply chain planning and its likely role in the future. We also discuss some issues corporation may have to face as a result of employees lacking adequate OR knowledge. We wish to contribute to the current study on what OR skills would be needed by supply chain professionals in the years to come.
