Cost Analysis of a Failure - Free Warranty Policy

摘要：

We consider a failure-free warranty policy for the case where there are three states of item usage, idle, normal use and abnormal use and the failure of item is dependent on the mode of usage. We obtain the expected warranty cost / unit sold for both repairable and nonrepairable items. By sensitivity analyses some properties are obtained.
