NONDESTRUCTIVE INSPECTION AND HEALTH MONITORING OF CIVIL INFRASTRUCTURES IN TAIWAN

摘要：

This paper presents the concept and technologies currently developed on the nondestructive inspection and structural health monitoring system of civil infrastructures in Taiwan. Some condition evaluation techniques, management system and real time bridge safety warning & monitoring systems have been established recently in the island. The principles and difficulties related to the system design, sensing technology, data collection, transmission, interpretation, management and system maintenance that were admitted in the past are remarked.
