A STUDY ON THE MDCM MODEL FOR THE EVALUATION OF THE MOST ADEQUATE AIRPORT MASS TRANIST SYSTEM
This study investigates the problem related to selection of the transportation system between CKS Airport and Taipei metropolitan area, Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) concept is adopted together with DAHP, TOPSIS and sensitivity analysis to set up an integrated and systematic selection model for transportation system. The opinions of the experts are integrated into the model through the questionnaires design, expert decision group and DAHP method to establish the hierarch structure and weight of the evaluation criteria. The recommended alternative is obtained based on the calculation result of the model. In order to minimize the subjective bias, the Positivism Hypothesis and TOPSIS method are adopted for the ranking of the alternatives with compromised solution. Sensitivity Analysis is applied to rectify and confirm the stability of the most adequate alternative and decide the best transportation system of this study. Based on the evaluation result, Busway is considered to be the best alternative by both DAHP and TOPSIS, the second choice is Light Rail Rapid Transit. It is hoped that the result of the study could be used as references for the decision maker to improve the efficiency of the overall transportation system.
