Resistance to Emerging Technologies Industrialization from Transaction Cost Based on Long Span Spatial Structure Selection
China has invested enormously in R&D of Olympic technologies, and wishes to industrialize the fruits of R&D. However, transaction cost of emerging technology in application is so high that it prevents emerging technology from industrializing. Based on a research of membrane structure as one of the Olympic technologies, this paper analyses resistance in long span spatial structure selection brought by transaction cost, and explains the mechanism of transaction cost to emerging technology abstractly by the structure selection envelope curve composed of average cost curves in microeconomics.
