The Synergistic Effect of Internal Social Capital and Learning Orientation on Technical Innovation
As the environment has become more dynamic and complex, learning and innovation are more important. Based on a sample of 208 Chinese companies and a structural equation methodology, the study discusses the relationship among internal social capital, learning orientation and technical innovation. Our results indicate that internal social capital positively affects learning orientation, learning orientation is indeed associated with greater technical innovation, but internal social capital hasnt direct impact on technical innovation. Further, our results provide evidence that learning orientation plays a mediating role between internal social capital and technical innovation. Since very limited empirical studies have concentrated on above issues in china, the results of this study can offer important direction to theories and practices in the developing of business innovation.
