Learning Orientation, Knowledge Management and Firm Performance: An Empirical Study
This study investigated the effects of learning orientation and knowledge management capabilities on the performance of the export-oriented firms in China. In this study, a framework for studying learning orientation, knowledge management capability and firm performance was developed. The model was tested using data collected from 47 export-oriented firms in China. The results supported most of the hypotheses and indicated that the learning orientation is positively associated with the KM capabilities and the KM capabilities have a positive and statistically significant effect on performance.
