The Role of Information Technology Parks in National Innovation System Case Study: Irans IT Parks

摘要：

This paper explains the role of Information Technology Parks (ITPs), as one of the main branches of Science and Technology Parks (STP) in improving the innovative performance of National Innovation System (NIS) and interaction of ITPs with other components of NIS. Having discussed the conditions of IT parks in Iran and the situation of national innovation system in Iranian national and governmental documents, the role of the ITP will be explored and some guidelines will be proposed to improve the ITP performance in context of Irans NIS.
