Research the Mode of Modern Military Strategic Leapfrog Development
To keep pace with the revolutionary developments in military technologies around the globe, PLA has adopted the theory of Military Strategic Leapfrog Development. The aim of subject postulate is to build a formidable defense force mainly incorporating the concept of Network Centric Warfare/Information Warfare(IW). Further more, concept of development will provide the base to implement PLAs Three Step Strategy of reconstruction theory. As Information Warfare has emerged as the decisive factor in modern wars of 20th and 21st century and has proved its validity as second to non; and at same time domestic technical foundation is the greatly developed and industrialized to support this idea. Furthermore, during the 16th session, the prime decision to renovate military infrastructure on modern lines has adopt this concept. The bsic concept is to set the IW/IT as main driving force to ensure composite development. The paper puts forward the measures to adopt Leapfrog Development, as it is two pronged strategy to develop and modernize both civil and military infrastructure.
