Principal-components Empirical Study on the Self-innovation Capacity of Manufacture Industry of Chengdu

摘要：

Innovation is very important for a country, as well as an industry and a firm. It is a valuable job to study the self-innovation capacity of Chengdu which is the economy center of western China. In this paper, we choose 13 different industries in the manufacture industry of Chengdu as the study object, and we choose 10 different factors influencing the innovation capacity. By SPSS 12.0 for Windows, we do principal-components analysis and then we do hierarchical cluster analysis. At last, we analyze and explain the outcome. So we get the compartmentalization of innovation capacity of different industries. And we make suggestions for the industry future development.
