Mainstream Specialist Communities and Representative Figures of Front Hotspot Domains in International Technology Innovation Theory

Applying new sciencmetrics methods, such as visibility technology, the paper analyses 50 authors whose papers are highly cited in hotspot front domains of international technology innovation theory from 2001 through 2005 to depict knowledge mapping of mainstream specialist communities and representative figures. The knowledge mapping displays that these high force authors form three specialist community in hotspot fronts mainstream domains of international technology innovation theory, including product research-development management and knowledge network, technology innovation and finance innovation, marketing innovation and social capital, innovation system and innovation path, evolvement economy and industrial competitiveness, industrial knowledge management and knowledge network dynamics etc. TEEDCE DJ and PORTER ME and POWELL WW become representative figures of fronts subject and mainstream domains. They contribute to initiating or developing mainstream offset subject technology innovation theory in the present age and made great influence. They are the characters that technology innovation theory circle of China should pay attention to.
