Technique Innovation of Search Engine and the Choice of Intellectual Property Policy

Along with the rapid development of science and technology, the new functions of search engine have been developed. For example, Search by Number, Google Video Store, Google Desktop Search, Google Print Library Project and Google Scholar appear one by one. The legal issues arising from new technologies have brought the huge challenge to the existing intellectual property (IP) system. For the purpose of protecting intellectual achievements and effectively encouraging the enthusiasm of inventors and managers, protection policies in the field of patent, copyright and trademark must be adjusted accordingly.
