Enlightenments of the Techno-economic Paradigm Evolvement to Building Regional Innovative Systems Structure Model
As the globalization strengthened, regional innovation ability becomes the decisive factor by which regional economy obtains the international competition advantage, and retains sustainable development. In recent years, the concept of regional innovation systems has evolved into a widely used analytical framework that generates the empirical foundation for innovation policy making. Yet, the approaches that utilize this framework remain ambiguous on such key issues as the system structure of regional innovation system, and inner mechanism i.e. Without doubt, regional innovation systems are built on the background of the whole changes of the techno-economic paradigm, and is closely related to the forming and evolvement of the techno-economic paradigm. There are so many similarity between the two issues that analogy would be worth proceeding. The research on the regional l innovation system cant leave this theme. This paper reviews and summarizes important ideas and arguments in the recent theorizing on regional innovation systems and techno-economic paradigm It also examines such issues as (a) definition confusion and empirical validation; (b) the enlightenment of techno-economic paradigm model; and (c) the inner system structure model of regional innovation system.
