Modeling & Simulation Research on New Fluid Flow Rate Limiting Device of High Reliability
Fluid flow rate limiting device with multi functions for important hydraulic system is developed. Mathematical model is established. Numerical simulation then run in Simulink environment of Matiab for theoretical performance test and confirmation of parameters of key parts. Spool displacements, changes of flux and pressure in chamber of main spool, effect of different viscous damping diameters are included in the simulation, providing reliable information to structure design. After structure, 3D CFD simulation using FLUENT is carried out for flow passage optimization and structure optimization, according to pressure distribution. Simulation not only shortens period of development of fluid flow rate limiting device, but proves relative theory and provides valuable data for products of the same kind.
