Research on Oil Film Height Influenced by Structure and Operation Parameters of Port Pair in Axial Piston Pump
In this paper on force balance, a simplifying lubrication model of port pair of axial piston pump is presented, and the test rig for lubrication properties of it is designed. To get its regularities, the lubricating oil film, one strain capacity of this model has been analyzed theoretically and experimentally. By FEM the static deformation, subject to higher supplying oil pressure, is one of factors acting on the film height. Supplying pressure and oil temperature influence it, but especially the former does markedly since 5 MPa pressure difference can cause the top change of a dozen microns. The underlying reasons for difference between the test data and theoretical model are analyzed comparatively. Modeling, test rig buildup and testing go far towards clearer understanding to the film height, the key evaluating parameter of lubrication properties, and its change characteristics, which can provide the optimum design with references.
