The Numerical Simulation of Gas Flow and Temperature Fields during Vacuum High Pressure Gas Quenching

This paper simulates the gas flow and heat-transfer in high-pressure gas quenching with finite volume method (FVM).The author erects the reasonable and simplified equation and physical model. By the numerical simulation, the gas flow vectors and the cooling curves of workpieces are showed in figures. The simulated results are contrasted with actual ones, and then the reasonable analysis is given out to the error.
