Robust PID Control Using Closed Loop Gain Shaping Algorithm in Tension Control of Belt Conveyor

According to the requirements of the closed loop frequency spectrum of belt conveyor take-up system, a control algorithm based on the closed loop gain shaping is presented. The algorithm directly construct out robust controller with closed loop system possessing engineering content parameters, which guarantees fundamentally that the designed controller has fine control performance and robustness. So it has the advantages of simple design procedure and obvious physical sense. To problem of the intricacy and multivariate belt tension caused by loading effect, the result of simulation and experiment show that constructive controller has fine robustness.
