Research on Electro-hydraulic Position Control System of Diamond Cubic Press
Because the position control precision of diamond cubic press determines the centering properly and synchronization of the cylinders, it is the key factor for the quality of artificial diamonds and the safety of equipments. In this paper, a new electro-hydraulic position control method based on 3-axis antithetically following theory is introduced and the mathematics models of the anvil stopping position and the synchronizing position are built. The PID plus T-curve control strategy is employed for controlling anvil stopping position and incremental PID control strategy is applied for controlling synchronization position. Based on the simulation with MATLAB SIMULINK and through the practice test on the press, it is proved that the response velocity and position control precision of the control system are improved effectively.
