Research of Rotor Speed Regulating Technology of ESPCP System Based on ANN

The key factors affecting the rotor speed of progressing cavity pumping system are analyzed. Taken the theoretical output volume, pressure and temperature at the pumps suction end, pressure and flow rate at the neck of well, and the oil viscosity as original inputs, the nonlinear mapping relationship between rotors rotational speed and its affecting factors was determined by means of two-layer neural network. With such ANN-based online rotor speed regulating system, the wear of rubber stator was slowed down, the life span was extended, stable and higher volumetric efficiency were obtained and flexibility and precision of control were improved.
