Research on Parallel Hybrid Hydraulic Excavator Based on Energy Regeneration and Capacitor Accumulator

Adopting hybrid system is a new way for hydraulic excavator to achieve energy saving. A parallel hybrid hydraulic excavator, which uses a set of capacitor as accumulator and a hydraulic motor to regenerate the energy of the return oil from the actuator, is proposed and researched. Experimental results indicate that this system can improve the distribution of engine work points, and the control performance of the regeneration system maintains good.
