Simulation on Status of Hydraulic Contamination and Optimum Collocation of Hydraulic Filters in Hydraulic System
An optimization method is firstly employed for research on hydraulic contamination control. A mathematical optimization model is developed to control the total operation cost of contamination control in representative hydraulic system- Based on the analyses of hypothesis case study, application method of the above optimization model is introduced. Simulation results show that, the relationship between the status information of hydraulic contamination and the total operation cost of filtration system is obtained through the solution of the optimization model, and then the optimization decisions are made on whether the filters are collocated in suction, pressure or return lines and when those filter elements should be replaced or cleaned in hydraulic system. This research not only settles effectively the blindness of collocation design for hydraulic filters, but also provides the theoretical evidences of scheme establishment for the daily examination and maintenance of hydraulic system.
