Measurement of 3-Dimension Motion of Lifting Pipe Support in Compensation System of Deep-Sea Mining
To consider that the 6-DOF hydraulic compensation system for deep-sea mining ship is used in oceanic field and its lifting pipe support motion is of precision in measurement. A super-short-base line based on phase differences of amplitude modulated ultrasonic signal beacon is contrived to measure the motion. Based on this method, a schedule of model experiments is performed. The experiment results indicate that the effective range of measurement is in ±1 m approximately and its precision of measurement is also in ±1 mm from experimental data. In addition, the results are suggested that the proposed method is practicable in compensation system for deep-sea mining ship.
