The Experimental Snubbing Unit System with Hydraulic Drive and Control
The experimental snubbing unit system with hydraulic drive and control is developed- It is composed of the top stripping ram BOPs and the bottom stripping ram BOPs with hydraulic drive, the equalize and Weed off spool and valves, the hydraulic jack cylinders and traveling snubbing slips, the high pressure fluid circulating system, the hydraulic power station, the pipe joints detector with hydraulic pressure equalizer, data acquisition and control system, the experimental table. By means of the snubbing unit experimental system, seal control performance test of the ram BOPs, the equalize and bleed off valve control performance test and the pipe joints detector performance test are performed. These tests show some satisfied results which can give a guideline in the aspect of the snubbing unit with hydraulic drive and control.
