Study on the Material of Friction Pair for Water Hydraulics Gear Pump
The friction and wear characteristics of filled polytetrafluoroethylene(PTFE) composite with Carbon Fiber, MoS2, Al2O3 with different volume percentage in sliding against stainless disc under water lubrication condition were studied. Studies have been made on the wear resistance of the material by the analysis of variance and range, and the worn surface has been observed and analyzed by Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM) Dimension 3100. Results show that it is possible to prepare carbon fiber/ MoS2/ Al2O3/PTFE composite by the mold pressing method, the composite has excellent friction and wear resistance under water lubrication condition, the fitness volume proportion of Carbon Fiber, MoS2, Al2O3, PTFE is 5: 5: 5:85 and 15:10:5:70.
