Simulation and Optimal Research for Premixed Combustor Based on Micro-Thermoelectric Generate Device

Micro-combustor with high energy density were usually used as heat source in micro-thermoelectric generate device (Power MEMS), which is an important part for the device, and the heat conversion efficiency of the combustor has direct influence on the total efficiency of the thermoelectric generate device. Here simulation models of micro-combustor were built up, which were used to calculating and controlling the generation of heat. The thermal transfer simulation model of heat flux was built up. Considering some parameters such as material, dimension, flux of fuel and shape of thermal conduct tunnel for micro-combustor, some simulation results were got. Based upon, optimized micro flat combustors were designed and manufactured. The experiment results indicated that the conduct efficiency of micro-combustor was well controlled by adjusting heat flux, and the combustor with shape of zigzag combustion tunnel has high thermal exchange efficiency in experiment models. Through optimizing flux of fuel and the structure of micro premixed combustor, heat loss was reduced and output power of the device was improved in a degree.
