The Characteristic Optimization for Finger Seal Based on Nash Equilibrium Theory
As the expecting goal of least hysteresis and longest life in finger seal, this paper presents a cooperation Nash equilibrium mathematical model of multi-objective optimization based on the game theory. In other words, the multi-objective optimization problem has become how to find the Nash equilibrium point of this game. In this solution, the reciprocal of hysteresis and the life of finger seal are taken as the payoff functions and the game is solved by genetic algorithm. The effectiveness is validated by one computational example. This research provides a new method for the hysteresis characteristics and life analysis in finger seal. It not only proposes an effective optimization method for finger seal, but also presents a new method for the similar optimization problem in engineering.
