Prediction of Large Gold Deposits and Bilateral Select Stepwise Regression

摘要：

In order to establish a predictive model of big gold deposits in China, we consider 4 dependent variables in relation to the size of ore deposits, 54 geological variables as independent ones and 40 model units. By means of bilateral select stepwise regression, the predictive model is formed, and the favorbilities of 65 predicted units in China are calculated. Finally, 9 unites are defined as prospective target areas of the first order.
