Establishment of Urban Underground Pipeline Management Information System Based on GeoView
GeoView is platform of geological information system based on the theory of point-source information system. It is applied widely in many fields, such as Geology, Petroleum, water conservancy, land management, urban construction, underground pipeline, and so on. This paper discussed how to establish urban underground pipeline management information system when GeoView was chosen as the basic working platform of geological information system, and integrated development environment is Visual C++. We can use underground pipeline management information system to implement computer aided management and network management for underground pipeline. It can provide geographical information and professional pipeline information for some department or large enterprises, such as urban planning, main water, gas, civicism, communication, electric power, fire protection, transportation industry, public security, and so on. It is an economical, flexible, and effective tool to the management of urban underground pipeline.
