The Design of Chinese Agriculture Land Gradation Database Based on Geodatabase

Along with the development of information, every profession accelerates the digital construction, and the land information system is one of the most popular applications in geographic information system (GIS), especially die spatial analysis and spatial statistics. This paper, which is based on analysis of mass and multi-source area graduation factors data, combined with the main method of spatial data model-Geodatabase, assorts the factors based on the theory of GIS, builds the geographic data to modeling continuous surfaces, discrete features, and imagery, and brings forward the basic thought constructed flexible and efficiently agricultural land graduation data model. Moreover the paper summarizes main steps of construction of agricultural land graduation data model based on Geodatabase. Analyzing the data characteristics is the base of conceptual design which is to analyze data special theme, and then the logical design is to assign entities of each special subject and each entitys mode of expression, fields and the relation. The agricultural land graduation database based on the Geodatabase which puts the mass data, including spatial and non-spatial, into the uniform model to manage and share, satisfies the industry criterion and the method of designing Geodatabase is feasible.
