Data Dictionary Based Design of Land Change Investigation Database Management System

The land use is changing very fast, as a result, the gathering, transition and disposal of the constantly altered information in time is an urgent problem to be solved. The authors adopt data dictionary technology to design the land change investigation database management system, which includes the area, village, map, land right unit information data dictionary, and so on. The land change investigation database management system consists of three parts, the first is land change investigation data gathering and processing, the second is data query and searches, and the third is land information dynamic processing. The land change investigation database management system set up with data dictionary bears the functions which can realize the dynamic data updating and show the statistic report forms. In details, it can save the land change information and manage the land accounts. It also can query die data in the random years, and connect with the cadastral system and be used as subsystem of the land management system. So it is easy to show the change of land use status more scientifically and fleetly. For the land management department, they can assess the land resource more rapidly and efficiently, so the land resource can be reasonably and adequately managed and used.
