Design of Mining Rights Management Information System Based WebGIS
Prospecting and mining rights Management information system is a computer software system which is used to manage enrollment information of prospecting rights and mining rights, and to realize aided decision-making pursuant to the relevant laws and regulations. The system involves a huge amount of data, which has multifarious data types such as statements data and graphical data. Prospecting rights management information subsystem (PRMS) and mining rights management information subsystem (MRMS) are two widely used management subsystems in most of Chinese Land Offices. However, there are several deficiencies existing in the actual application. That is: prospecting rights information and mining rights information are managed separately, data cant be shared between the two subsystems; relevant departments and public cant inquiry prospecting rights information and mining rights information timely and expediently; it is difficult to add other thematic data for a comprehensive analysis. A new system design based on WebGIS was proposed. Overall structure design, functional design, and spatial database design was discussed in detail.
