The Research of the Changes of Soil Erosion in Taiyuan Basin of Shanxi Province in the North West of China
A soil erosion change is one of ecological environment change studies important contents. The study of a soil erosion change is important. Shanxi Province is in the north west of China. Taiyuan basin is economical belt of Shanxi Province. A soil erosion change is related to soil erosion and vegetation cover and land use change and so on. So the study of a soil erosion change is important to Taiyan basin economic and environment. This article use colored synthesis and NDVI to carry on the classification of the TM remote sensing images 1990 to 2000 and use GIS to superimpose Taiyuan basin landing use chart, the topographic diagram slope chart, and the remote sensing images to study a Taiyuan basin soil erosion dynamical change preliminarily. The result indicated that: The change corrode of distributing the plain nearby the rivers is smaller; The first level of yellow local stations is the moderate corroded type, the edge run-off ditch have corroded gradually; The loess Liang shape rough terrain is the extremely intense corroded regions and presents the corroded expansion tendency; The corrode of the north-west area loess and the bedrock mountainous region has increase tendency.The soil erosion is in the world one of main harms in the world. It not only can cause the land to degenerate, the ecological environment further to be worsen, but also create the disaster. Soil erosion has become the most serious ecological environment question in many places of our country. Taiyuan area is the economical belt in loess plateau of our country; vegetation coverage change of the basin directly affects the ecological environment, the agricultural production, the urban planning and the development. The research on the soil erosion using the remote sensing technology is not only objectively and comprehensively; moreover it is dynamical and fast. The method obviously surpasses the tradition ground investigation method. This research mainly makes the preliminary analysis to the Taiyuan basin soil erosion change by using different time image remote sensing, material and so on topographic diagram.
