Quantitative Delineation and Assessment of Platium, Copper and Gold Anomalies in Eastern Yunnan Province, Southwestern China Using Universal Kriging
The PGE-Cu-Au bearing formation in the eastern Yunnan province includes both the ore-bearing the Permian Emeishan basalt and the ore-bearing black shale such as the Protreozoic Kunyang group, the upper Sinian-lower Cambrian, and Trassic. Geostatistics, combined with factor analysis is applied to characterize the variability of Pt, Cu and Au, analyze the geological factors controlling spatial distribution of them, and eventually delineate and assess the anomalies of Pt, Cu and Au.
