The Study on Subsurface Architecture Analysis and Remaining Oil Distribution Patterns of Meandering River Reservoir-A Case Study of Guantao Formation, Gudao Oilfield
Based on core, well logging and production performance data of 11J11 dense drilling zone, Gudao oilfield, Shengli petroleum province, Combined with the result of prototype models of outcrop and modern deposition of meandering river, the method of hierarchy analysis and pattern fitting is applied in subsurface architecture anatomy, three architecture hierarchies, composite meandering channel, single point bar and lateral accretion sandbody are identified and anatomized. 3-D reservoir architecture model is set up precisely, spatial characteristics of lateral accretion shale beddings in point bar are exhibited. On the basis of numerical simulation reservoir architecture modeling and numerical simulation, the remaining oil distribution patterns controlled by lateral accretion shale beddings of the meandering river are summarized, and the potential measures of the remaining oil are proposed, that is, drilling horizontal well on the top of the point bar between the injection and production wells. The application effects of this method in Gudao oilfield are good and can be used in other similar oilfields.
