Electrical and Optical Simulation of a Simple Organic Light-emitting Diode
We employed the APSYS software to perform 3D electrical and ray-tracing simulations on an Organic Light-Emitting Diode(OLED) to research some physical properties of organic semiconductors. Electrical calculations showed intrinsic confining effect in this type devices and I-V curve presented a reasonable high junction resistance. Further more, 3D raytracing showed clearly bottom emission.
