Numerical Simulation for LCD Panel Design under Grid Computing Environment
In this paper, we report our numerical study on the optical properties for the design of LCD panel under grid computing environment. We used finite element method (FEM) numerical engine for the optical analysis of panel for different voltages and wavelengths. We adjusted the time step, voltage step, wavelength step, and angle step in order to build a data library for die LCD panel. To accommodate this huge amount of calculation, a grid computing technique has been used in this work. We compared results of simulation by grid computing system with verified results of simulation by one pc. And we are to expect grid computing system capacity of large scale data and simulation time reduced. We report the result of our preliminary study about the grid computing system capacity of large scale data with simulation time reduced.
